No, we’re not talking about the whole of London, The City is only one square mile (that’s 2.9 km2 for non-imperial folk). It may be London’s financial centre, but it’s far from all work no play. Plenty of bars, breweries, galleries, and theatres are scattered between the skyscrapers.

Right bang in the middle of London: if you stay here, you couldn’t be better connected. Seven different underground lines run through The City as well as the DLR and Thameslink, and several of the major London train stations are within walking distance.
